Love the paint scheme and the Barracuda looking custom Challenger. Too bad they don't have the guts to factory make a good Barracuda, I don't give a damn that the "Plymouth" brand doesn't exist... the car would have nothing in common with real 67-71 Barracudas anyway, beside a few retro looking design touches.

Al-Essa has recently taken delivery of his thirty-third exotic, the first Ferrari 599 GTO worth £345,000 (US$557,000). In his own words:
Exterior modifications over the standard Veyron include a new front fascia with a unique grille in a gold finish and a different apron, a shorter bonnet, LED daytime running lights, side skirts, modified fenders and a new rear diffuser. Mansory also added larger air outlets at the rear and at the sides of the car along with new wheels made from a special gold-colored alloy.

Think of the Hidalgo as something like the European equivalent of Japan's Mitsuoka Himiko Classic which is based off the MX-5. The Swiss replica is powered by the SLK AMG's 5.5-liter V8 engine producing 355HP and 376 lb-ft of peak torque, good enough to get the Hidalgo from zero to 100km/h (62mph) in a claimed 3.4 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 250km/h (155mph).
As you can see in this video that was most likely shot in Russia, even a pair of heavily-modified Nissan GT-Rs tuned to churn out some 730HP (or so it is claimed) are having a hard time keeping up with the Veyron. Of course, the Bugatti costs as much as two-dozen or so Nissan GT-Rs, but that's another tale for another time... For now, follow the jump to watch the clip.
In this new batch of photos that were released after a special media presentation at the Volkswagen Group Evening on the eve of the Geneva Motor Show, Bugatti included pictures of the 16C Galibier in a black-only finish.
Among the cars on show were Porsche's 918 Spyder Concept, Bentley's Continental Supersports Cabrio, the Seat IBE Coupe concept, Skoda's Fabia RS, the Audi A1, Lamborghini Gallardo SV, VW's Sharan MPV and Amarok pickup truck and the Bugatti 16C Galibier that's pegged to enter production in the near future. You've probably heard about the Bugatti Veyron that crashed into a Texas saltwater pond earlier this week with the driver claiming that he lost control of the $1 million + supercar when a "low-flying pelican distracted him". Well, guess what; someone, who happened to be traveling in a car on an adjacent road, was filming the Bugatti Veyron and actually captured the incident as it occurred! We looked at the video multiple times, heard the folks in the car repeating the 'S' word more times than we can remember, but a pelican we never saw... Evidently, the Bugatti Veyron wasn't made to drift on water. Too bad that the driver of the 1001HP, 16-cylinder quad-turbocharged supercar had to find out the hard way... But seriously now, according to media reports, the unnamed driver lost control of the Veyron as he was traveling north on Interstate 45 in Texas when a "low-flying pelican distracted him".The report goes on to say that the man" jerked the wheel, dropped his cell phone" and ended up, or rather in, a saltwater lagoon. While the driver wasn't injured, the same can't be said about the Veyron which carries a $1 million + price tag.

Instead of exhibiting its new 16C Galibier concept car at international motor shows for us plebeians to see, Bugatti has chosen to display its four-seat limousine exclusively to selected customers and what the firm describes as "opinion-makers" from around the globe. Following the presentation of the concept at a private event at its Molsheim headquarters on the eve of the Frankfurt Show in September, the VW Group owned company now brought the 16C Galibier, which is named after an alpine pass along the Tour de France, to Los Angeles at the Beverly Hills Ace Gallery.
Designed to be if not the, one of the most exclusive and powerful limousine in the world, the 16C Galibier packs a 16-cylinder, 8-litre engine with two-stage supercharging that was developed as a flex-fuel engine that can optionally be run on ethanol. It also features four-wheel drive, specially developed ceramic brakes and a new suspension design.
There's still no official word if the concept will head into production but if VW's decision makers give the green light, expect to see the car making its market debut in the next three to four years.
As the classy media and ritzy customers are taking their first test drives of the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport, Bugatti decided to share a few more photos of its topless model with the less fortunate. Featuring a removable top and the necessary structural upgrades, the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport retains the standard model's 1,001-horsepower 16-cylinder mid-mounted engine that allows the supercar to reach a top speed of 407km/h (253mph), while speeds of up to 360km/h (224mph) are possible with the roof off.All in all, Bugatti will produce a total of 150 units of the Grand Sport, each priced at a 'mere' €1.4 million (without taxes and transportation), which comes close to $2 million US.
